2025 General Election: Meeting Notice - Drawing of Lots for Tied Races

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

The Philadelphia City Commissioners, sitting as the Return Board, will reconvene to draw lots and identify winners of tied races for Majority and Minority Inspectors of Election from the 2025 Municipal General Election.

This public meeting will take place:

Friday, November 21, 2025
at 12:00 P.M.
at the City Commissioners’ Election Warehouse
11311 Roosevelt Blvd, Philadelphia, PA 19154.

The public is invited to attend.

Those unable to attend in person may submit public comment via email to phillyelection@phila.gov with “Public Comment” in the subject line. Comments must be received by 9:45 A.M. on Friday, November 21st.

Each candidate for Philadelphia City/County office is given the opportunity to draw a number to determine their position. If a candidate will not be present at the drawing of the lot, the candidate may authorize a proxy to draw the candidate’s lot(s) on his or her behalf. If the candidate or their proxy arrive late to the meeting and positions have already been drawn for that office, the County Board will not re-draw positions.
