2024 Special Election: Mail Ballots, Office Hours, and Drop Boxes

The Philadelphia County Board of Elections Office in City Hall, Room 140, is now open for in-person mail ballot services for the 2024 Special Election. Voters should enter through the east gate of City Hall. This office is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The Satellite Election Office located at 4029 Market Street is open for in-person mail ballot services. Starting Monday, September 9, the Satellite Election Office at 5301 Chew Ave will be open for in-person mail ballot services. Our Satellite Election Offices are open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM every Saturday and Sunday.

At these locations, voters may apply for a mail ballot in person, receive it, complete it, and return it, all in the same visit.

The deadline to apply for your mail ballot is Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Voters can apply for an emergency absentee ballot if an emergency (an unexpected trip or illness, for example) arises after the deadline for standard mail ballot applications. An “emergency absentee application” may be obtained from the Board of Elections, either in person or by mail. Emergency applications and completed ballots MUST be received by the County Board of Elections no later than 8:00 PM on Election Day. For more information, visit our Vote by Mail page.
