2022 General: Undated and Incorrectly Dated Ballots

The Philadelphia Board of Elections will consider whether to count undated and incorrectly dated ballots at the Return Board’s public meeting on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 11 AM.

The Board has determined that the 2143 mail ballots are undated by the voter and that the 460 mail ballots are incorrectly dated by the voter under the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania’s recent decision.

The Board invites any voter who appears on these lists to provide information to the Board through its public comment process regarding their mail-in ballot, including their understanding of the date field, whether a date was required, and what, if any, date they wrote on their ballot. Voters can provide information by appearing before the Board at its public meeting scheduled for 11 a.m., November 18, 2022 at 11311 Roosevelt Blvd or by email to phillyelection@phila.gov.
