2020 General Elections: Three New Satellite Election Offices Opening

The Philadelphia City Commissioners are able to open 3 more satellite office locations in the coming days, beginning today, 10/14/20. The Julia Ward Howe School will open today, Wednesday, 10/14/20 at 11:30AM. Please note the Julia Ward School will function as drop off location only, and will not be a 24/7 drop box. This location will follow the stated hours of the other satellites. The J Hampton Moore School will be opening Thursday, 10/15/20, while the Alain Locke School will open on Saturday, 10/17/20. Each of these newly opened or soon to be open offices will have the same operating hours as the other offices (Monday-Thursday, 11:30AM to 6:3PM; Friday-Sunday, 9:30AM to 4:30PM).

At each office, excluding the Julia Ward Howe School, which will simply be functioning as a drop off location for voters, individuals can apply for a mail-in ballot in person, receive their ballot, complete their ballot, and return it, all in one visit. Any voters can utilize any of the satellite election offices throughout the city. Again, the Julia Ward Howe School in Upper North Philadelphia will function as drop off box location only, and will not be a 24/7 drop box. This location will follow the stated hours of the other satellites.

The deadline to register to vote is October 19th

The deadline to request a mail-in or absentee ballot is October 27th.

Voters may only drop off their own ballot unless the voter is physically unable to personally submit their Absentee or Mail-in Ballot and has designated an agent to deliver their ballot and the completed forms are submitted with the ballot.
