Election Training Classes Cancelled 3/20 and 3/21
Philadelphia City Commissioners Cancel Election Board Worker Training Classes on 3/20 and 3/21 Due to Extreme Weather Forecast
Philadelphia, PA – Citing safety concerns for Election Board workers and staff, the Philadelphia City Commissioners have canceled the Election Board training classes scheduled for March 20th and March 21st. This will affect scheduled trainings at New Covenant Church for wards 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 21, 22, 38, 50, and 59 and trainings at Archbishop Ryan High School for wards 41, 57, 58, 64, 65, and 66.
Those who were planning on attending can still attend the regularly scheduled trainings at New Covenant Church on Saturday or Sunday or at Archbishop Ryan High School on Thursday or Saturday. Make up classes for all wards will be held on Saturday, May 12th at South Philadelphia High School and the Voter Registration Office at Delaware and Spring Garden Streets at 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm at on Sunday, May 13th at Aspira School and the Voter Registration Office at Delaware and Spring Garden Streets at 9am, 10am, 11am, 1pm, 2pm, and 3pm.
