Announcement - New Campaign Finance Reporting System Coming Online
The Board of Ethics and City Commissioners are pleased to announce that the City has developed a new online system for the filing of campaign finance reports.
The new system is web based and will allow for simultaneous filing of campaign finance reports with both the Board of Ethics and the City Commissioners. The new system is compatible with both Mac and PC and works on Internet Explorer, Edge, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. (Note: please disable pop up blocker while using the system).
To set up an account on the new system, please go to this link: https://apps.phila.gov/campaign-finance/auth/
Please note that accounts set up with the prior City filing system did not transfer to the new system. Users who had an account under the old system will have to reestablish their account. You can reuse your old Filer ID Number if you choose to.
Please download and read the user manual for the new system.
We will be offering several training classes on the new system. We strongly encourage campaigns to send at least one person to a training session. Download, fill out, and return the registration form to sign up.
In addition to the training seminars, we will be having an “open house” at the offices of the Board of Ethics on March 27 (3:00 – 6:00) and April 2 (10:00 – 2:00) where you can check out the new system and get assistance setting up your account.
You must use the new system to file all upcoming required reports with the Board of Ethics, including the 2019 Cycle 1 report which is due on April 9. We will have a filing support center open at the offices of the Board April 4, 5, 8, & 9. Computers and support staff will be available to anyone who needs them. While simultaneous electronic filing of campaign finance reports with both the Board of Ethics and the City Commissioners is strongly encouraged, the Office of the City Commissioners will still accept hard copies of reports.
If you have any questions about the new system, please do not hesitate to contact us at 215-686-3469 or candidate.info@phila.gov.
