Computation and Canvassing of the Returns Open to the Public

On Friday at 9:00 AM, the computation and canvassing of the returns commenced and will continue until completed. This process is open to the public. If anyone wishes to observe the process, staff will be available this weekend (Saturday, Sunday, and Memorial Day) from 8:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Examination of specific wards and divisions can be accommodated by making an appointment. An appointment can be made by calling 215-686-1530. Anyone who intends to challenge write-in votes should bring their own paper and pencil or laptop. Ink pens are not permitted.

Challenges to provisional ballots, emergency absentee ballots received after 5:00 PM Friday, alternative ballots, and write-in votes made over the weekend will be heard by the Return Board on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. An additional hearing will occur on Thursday at 10:00 AM in necessary.
