The deadline to apply for your mail ballot is Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 5:00 PM. Voters can apply for an emergency absentee ballot if an emergency (an unexpected trip or illness, for example) arises after the deadline for standard mail ballot applications. An “emergency absentee application” may be obtained from the Board of Elections, either in person or by mail. Emergency applications and completed ballots MUST be received by the County Board of Elections no later than 8:00 P.M. on Election Day. For more information, visit our Vote by Mail page.

Voters may only drop off their own ballot. If a voter has a physical disability or illness which prevents them from personally picking up or returning their Absentee or Mail-in Ballot, they should complete the Designated Agent form to designate an agent to transport their ballot and submit the completed forms along with their ballot, secured with a rubber band or paper clip to the outside of the ballot. Download the Designated Agent form here.
