Next Election in Philadelphia is Tuesday, May 21 ,2013 |

VOTER ID LAW On November 6, 2012, Philadelphia voters will be able to vote a regular ballot on the voting machines even if they do not have a photo ID. However, poll workers will ask voters for Photo ID. There are separate ID requirements for first time voters. Pennsylvania voters will be required to bring an approved Photo ID to the polls in order to vote on May 14, 2013 and all later elections. For more information, visit www.votespa.com. ID's are available from PennDOT for no charge for voters who have no other ID approved for voting. The vision of this office is to provide an enhanced resource for voters, candidates for office and their campaigns, as well as the general public. We, the board of commissioners are united in our vision of a transparent, highly accessible and effective organization that provides for fair, effective and lawful elections with the integrity that the people of Philadelphia deserve.
